When purchasing any natural stone from Casa Marble we take extensive care while manufacturing your product throughout the installation process. When a product is completed we use a top of the range ‘Lithofin’ sealer for all our bench tops.
Marble and Limestone in bathrooms have been appreciated for many years. Its elegant looks and decreasing manufacturing costs make these materials more and more popular. The following notes about protecting and maintaining are important to preserve and enhance the beauty of your natural stone for many years.
Water-spots and residues from body lotions, soap and washing powder should be wiped off immediately. Lime deposits on the surface can be removed carefully with a mild detergent
• Do not use sandpaper or cleaners containing grit or abrasives on polished marble surfaces.
• Use a coaster under all glasses, particularly those containing alcohol or citrus juices. Many common foods and drinks contain acids that will etch or dull the stone surface.
• Do not place hot items directly on the stone surface. Use trivets or mats under hot dishes and placemats under china, ceramics, silver or other objects that can scratch the surface.
